My little peanut is going to be 8 months this week I can't believe it. We have had a couple busy weeks. Thanksgiving we were in Iowa the week after Thanksgiving Kennedy had an Ear infection and both mom and dad had a cold. The the next weekend we took another trip down to Iowa for a funeral for someone in Kevins family. This weekend the great white north spewed 14 inches of snow on us, we spent most of the weekend home, hanging out as a family, which always makes for some great memories!

Kennedy playing in the hotel before we went to eat lots of Turkey.

Daddy let Kennedy drive for a little bit. She was getting mad being in the car for 6 hours.

I love this time of the year. Spending time with family. I think this year now that Kevin and I have Kennedy I am looking forward to it even more. We went down to Iowa to visit Kevin's family for Thanksgiving. Traveling with a baby, wow there is so much you need to bring. If you saw our car you would think we had 3 kids and not just 1.
We drove down on Wednesday night the roads were a little icy so it took a little longer. Kennedy did pretty good in the car. The last hour was bad she wanted to get out of her car seat so bad. We stayed in a hotel so when we got there it was night to just relax. Thursday Morning we got up and just hung out as a family. We got ready and went over to Kevin's cousin Todd's house as there is where the family spends Thanksgiving. There were about 40 of us there eating turkey together. It was great to have Kennedy meet everyone in Kevin's family. That night we went to one of Kevin's good friends house and hung and caught up with them. Friday morning we had breakfast with some of Kevin's family and then off to see Kevin's mom side Friday afternoon.
The weekend was filled with fun, family and great memories.

7 Months

Grandpa Les and Grandma Lori playing with Kennedy.

Auntie Amy and Kennedy.

This last weekend Kennedy and I went to Wis Rapids as Daddy had drill and then left to go hunting. We spent the weekend in Rapids with family and Friends. We hung out at my parents house and went to a bridal shower. On Sunday I headed home to MN and left Kennedy at my parents house for a few days. It was nice that my parents could spend some time with her. It was a rough week for me coming home to a empty house. While Kennedy was at my parents house she starting getting a cold, I believe she is is also teething. On Wednesday night I met my mom half way and I saw Kennedy her poor eyes looked so bad. I just felt horrible for her. I got her home and after a few rough nights I believe she is on the up and up now.

Kennedy is starting to eat more in her high chair and she is scooting backwards now. My plan is to have her crawling before Christmas. Grandma Lori will not like that as her house will be full of Christmas decorations. We are looking forward to the holidays as a family. We will be with Kevin's family for Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family. I will be sure to take lots of pictures.

6 Months

Kennedy's First Corn Maze!!!

Grandma Lori got this outfit for Kennedy. I had to put the whole outfit on or it isn't the same.

Kennedy turned 6 months this week. She is getting so big. She started to roll over about 3 weeks ago and then this last weekend she just stopped rolling. I think she figured out that she could only roll from her back to her tummy and then she got mad once she is on her tummy. So she figured out that if I just don't roll I won't get stuck. We have also been feeding her more but still just once a day. She gets most of the food on her bib but she opens her mouth each time I bring the spoon to her month. Kennedy is almost sitting up by her self also.

This past weekend we had lots of visitors. My mom was here on Friday night along with my Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Sandy, and Amy and Jon. Kennedy went to her first Bridal shower and she was such a good girl like always.
