This year we decided to go to a little family farm that is in Andover. The farm is about 3 blocks from our house and is so cute and fun. We had the joy to go with some friends the Matteson's. The kids had a blast and it was a beautiful day to enjoy being outside.

State Fair 2011

September 3rd we went to the MN State Fair. The highlight was the Helping Hands Farm. Kennedy loved it. You can see the pictures below. We had so much fun and Kennedy got so sleepy she even got a nap in at the fair. We met my Aunt and Uncle's family there for part of the time and hung and went to a dog show together.

The Wisconsin Dells

The weekend of August 25th and 26th we took a little road trip as a family to the Wisconsin Dells. We stayed at The Great Wolf Lodge. It was so much fun.

The car ride there. Nice sun glasses Kennedy.

Hanging in the pool with Daddy.

Kennedy went down the big slide outside with daddy.

On the jet ski.

Walking down to the pool the first day.

One of the first slides she went down with Daddy. It took Kennedy a while to get use to the water and all the noise in the water park but by the last day she just kept doing down the slide and seem to really like it.

All in all it was a great weekend. We enjoy lots of much needed family time.

One Rainy night

Tonight is was rainy outside and Kevin had a meeting so it was Kennedy and I at home on a rainy night. Kennedy hasn't been feeling good this week. She had a fever this weekend and then she broke out with a rash. We went to the Dr on Monday and Kennedy has Roseola. Tonight she is starting to be her own self. So I decided it would be fun to make mini brownies with her for the first time since we couldn't do anything outside. She loved it and of course loved the taste of the brownies.

Tasting the brownies.

As you can tell in this picture her eyes still doing look the greatest but she is feeling better now that she had some brownies.

Outside

Now that we have a yard Kennedy loves to play outside. She is always trying to put any one's shoes on that are by the door and stands there and points to go out side.

Kennedy loves the slide. She has now figured out that she can climb up the side of the slide instead of using the ladder.

And she now knows how to climb up the slide also.

A few weekends ago Grandma and Grandpa Robinson got Kennedy a sandbox. This is Kennedy's favorite thing to do outside is play in the sandbox. She now knows that it is not good throw the sand out of the sandbox on to the grass so of course she does it more and more.

Last night we went out on the drive way and played with chalk which she loved mostly just carry the basket of chalk around but we will work on that.

Outside is Kennedy's favorite place to be that is for sure.

Weekend away for a Baby Shower

Kennedy and Amy.

This last weekend Kennedy, my Aunt Mary and I went on a road trip to Wis Rapids on Friday and hung out with family for the night. Then we join with my mom and Grandma to ride down to Racine WI for Amy's Baby shower. The trip down was fun with us girls and Kennedy slept most of the way. Amy got lots of good stuff for her baby shower and I think Kennedy wanted it all. It was a good weekend but long car rides for Kennedy. I have to say she did pretty good.

The Friday we left she had her 15 month appointment. She weight in at 20lb 10oz. She hasn't really gained any weight since her 12 month appointment. That is pretty normal for her age. She is in the 16th percentile for weight. 64 percentile for height and about 40 percentile for her head. She is growing fast and the doctor said she is doing very well and you would never guess that she was 6 weeks early. She has grown up so much in the last month I can't believe it. The things she catches on to blows my mind. One of my favorites is that anything with a handle or strap she tries to carry as a purse but most of them are too long for her so she puts her hand up over her head to carry the purse so she doesn't drag it on the floor. Her other favorite thing to do is play in the entry way and try and put Mommy and Daddy's shoes one and she does one of these days she is going to hurt her self but she is so happy playing there so I let her. Today I caught her trying to put Daddy's Army boots as well as his army hat, too cute.

We are now in our new house and trying to get settled in. Kennedy is doing amazing with the transition. The first two nights she had a hard time but now she goes right down. Now Ranger on the other hand is having lots of problems with the transitition and maybe is because he was at my parents house for a month and then moved to a new home. He will get used to it soon. Kennedy missed him while he was gone and now they are loving every minute they have to play together or should I say Kennedy to play with Ranger and Ranger to ignore Kennedy.
